iGarageSale: Find it, locally.
For months now I have been searching for a new desk. Searching everyday on eBay, Craigslist, and in newspapers but it was nearly impossible to find anything local. Then I came across iGarageSale, a craigslist based garage sale finder for iPhone. Using your current position, iGarageSale will find the nearest garage sales in your selected area by week or day. From there, you can see what each garage sale is selling. One of the most exciting features built into the app is the ability to search for a specific item. When the search is complete it will show you where and when it is available.
I’ve always had a weak spot for garage sales. If I drive past one I basically force myself to stop. You never know when you’ll come across something that worth well beyond what it is on sale for. With iGarageSale I’m sure to spend my weekend downtime making trips to all the local garage sales.
